Laval – March 30, 2020 – LEARN, officially launched a resource page for parents and students. This is an amazing and easy to navigate resource page assembled by a team of dedicated educators many of whom are parents living through the same challenges. The many and varied resources target students at all levels from elementary to secondary and cover all subject areas and include links to the Ministry of Education and school boards. This collaborative effort highlights how the English educational community of Quebec has come together in support of our students.
“A message from the LEARN Team –
As educators and parents, we get it – and we are all in this together. Remember to take it easy and be kind to yourselves. This is uncharted territory for most of us, and an opportunity to slow down and do less, rather than more. Many parents are feeling pressured to do school-like activities at home, but we see this as an opportunity for young people to develop creativity, learn new skills, and take a greater autonomy in their learning. Below you will find some resources to keep your children curious and engaged at home.” www.learnquebec.ca/learnathome
LEARN also provides online tutoring services, at no charge, to support students at the elementary and secondary levels (gr. 2- 11. Our online tutors are fully qualified Quebec teachers, experienced in tutoring, review and consolidation. Families can make a request for a LEARN Tutoring appointment at www.learnquebec.ca/tutoring
