What is Encounters with Canada?
There are more than 90,000 students (ages 14 to 17) who have registered. Encounters with Canada - our country's largest and foremost youth forum, Encounters is a valued partner of LEARN - brings together young people from across the country for a week of citizenship, leadership and career-exploration activities in Ottawa.
Students who attend this bilingual program:
- Take Part in hands-on workshops and cultural activities
- Explore possible future careers
- Learn from experts in a variety of fields
- Take part in fascinating theme-related outings
- Explore Canadian institutions like no tourist can
- Meet 120 - 130 other young people from across the country
- Live the experience of a lifetime!
Participants can choose from one of the following theme weeks:
