The Broad Areas of Learning address the issues of our time and provide students with real-life
contexts for learning.
There are five BALs: Health and Well-Being, Personal and Career Planning/Career Planning and Entrepreneurship, Environmental Awareness and Consumer Rights and Responsibilities, Media Literacy, and Citizenship and Community Life.
We currently have a resource listing for Citizenship and Community Life and a special section on Children's Rights and Related Issues.

To ensure that students develop a sense of
responsibility for adopting good habits with respect to health, safety and sexuality
